چکیده
Abstract A multi-relaxation-time discrete Boltzmann model (DBM) is proposed for compressible nonequilibrium reactive flows. The uniform equations are the governing of distribution functions that describe system. On right-hand side equations, reaction terms calculated by inverse matrix method used to couple chemical reactions and multi-physical fields naturally. Numerical tests show DBM suitable premixed, non-premixed partially premixed systems, also capable high-speed

Discrete Boltzmann Modeling of Compressible Flows
Mathematically, the typical difference of Discrete Boltzmann Model (DBM) from the traditional hydrodynamic one is that the Navier-Stokes (NS) equations are replaced by a discrete Boltzmann equation. But physically, this replacement has a significant gain: a DBM is roughly equivalent to a hydrodynamic model supplemented by a coarse-grained model of the Thermodynamic Non-Equilibrium (TNE) effects...
متن کاملLattice Boltzmann models for nonequilibrium gas flows.
Due to its computational efficiency, the kinetic-based lattice Boltzmann method has recently been used to model nonequilibrium gas dynamics. With appropriate boundary conditions, lattice Boltzmann models have been able to capture both velocity slip and temperature jump at a solid surface. To enable these models to simulate flows in the transition regime, both high-order and modified lattice Bol...
متن کاملRelaxation in reactive flows
We consider convective systems in a bounded domain, in which viscous fluids described by the Stokes system are coupled using the Boussinesq approximation to a reaction-advection-diffusion equation for the temperature. We show that the resulting flows possess relaxation-enhancing properties in the sense of [12]. In particular, we show that solutions of the nonlinear problems become small when th...
متن کاملBuoyancy Term Evolution in the Multi Relaxation Time Model of Lattice Boltzmann Method with Variable Thermal Conductivity Using a Modified Set of Boundary Conditions
During the last few years, a number of numerical boundary condition schemes have been used to study various aspects of the no-slip wall condition using the lattice Boltzmann method. In this paper, a modified boundary condition method is employed to simulate the no-slip wall condition in the presence of the body force term near the wall. These conditions are based on the idea of the bounce-back ...
متن کاملMultiple-Relaxation-Time Lattice Boltzmann Approach to Compressible Flows with Flexible Specific-Heat Ratio and Prandtl Number
A new multiple-relaxation-time lattice Boltzmann scheme for compressible flows with arbitrary specific heat ratio and Prandtl number is presented. In the new scheme, which is based on a two-dimensional 16-discrete-velocity model, the kinetic moment space and the corresponding transformation matrix are constructed according to the seven-moment relations associated with the local equilibrium dist...
